An opportunity exists for an experienced SAP HR/Payroll consultant to join a leading Australian FMCG organisation as an integral part of their expanding SAP team. This is a project and support role where the ideal candidate will take ownership of the HR module and involve the business to improve the current methodologies and use of the SAP HR/PY function.

Key tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Managing the day to day payroll functions
Maintenance of existing SAP HR/Payroll environment (ECC 6.0)
Liaise with users on daily basis to support and enhance the SAP HR/PY function
Provide recommendations to the business / senior management on the continuous improvement of SAP HR/PY
Taking end to end ownership of the HR/PY function- from gathering requirements to configuration to conducting regular meetings with users and providing recommendations and improvements

Qualifications and skills:
ESS and MSS experience is advantageous
A mixture of project and support experience
Experience in an end user environment
Excellent communication skills
Solid SAP Payroll experience
Australian payroll experience
