Technical Services Manager

We are currently looking to fill a Technical Services Managers position for an exclusive client. Whether you are a Technical Services Superintendent or a Senior Mine Engineer looking to take the next step, do not hesitate in applying for this position. Reporting directly to the General Manager Mine Operations, this role will include managing multi-disciplined teams across various operations.
Technical & Personal Requirements

• Consulting with the Long-Term Mine Planning Engineer to manage the full range of the Mining studies
• Provide operational, technical and developmental and production planning expertise across all Departmental reports.
• Oversee the ongoing programs and assist Exploration with near-mine drilling and logistical programmes in support of the Mine.
• Assume a leadership role as part of the Site Management team responsible for facilitating coordination of Mine Planning activities to meet schedules and budgets.

Qualifications and Desired Experiences

• Degree qualification in Mining Engineering (preferable) or Geology
• Significant and relevant mining experience is essential – 5+ yrs Open Pit.
• Ability to lead a team and drive the operation for continued success.
• Knowledge with at least one mine planning software package – SURPAC or VULCAN
